Wanted to do a picture that would allow me to use a moderate amount of 3D models to help speed up my workflow when it comes to do 2d digital work. As sometimes it my take me a a LOT of hours to get an illustration done, and with 3D you have more freedom to control the camera, the characters, lighting.
So yeah it helps lol
Background for this pic, wanted to create a sort of nomad warrior travelling through desert lands (initially) with a mix of some sci fi , some contemporary but mostly Fantasy style. I think the end result its a bit of John Carter of Mars without the aliens lol
